A surprisingly funny movie. (In my opinion, anyway.) To see another opinion, see the movie 'tudes comments. Their comments are what made me rent it. Some of thismovie is pretty funny.

Scrubs back on TV---on ABC Tuesday nights. All is becoming right with the world. (last season though) Battlestar Galactica returns on Sci-Fi this Friday (last episodes).
From a news Article
Scrubs." The dead comedy-turned-backroom hot commodity remains poised
to jump to ABC from longtime home NBC. The cast has been told to return
to work March 24. Cast member John C. McGinley said recently that he
was told that "the 18 episodes we're going to do starting that day will
be on ABC next fall." But the show's producer, ABC Studios, insists the
work is just "reshoots." Just, you know, everyday reshoots of a series
NBC has refused to order more episodes of.

The following event occurred Jan 19th in Kuwait
Well right now, I'm kinda coming down off a bit of a
"high". The fog and
haze is lifting in my brain. Clear memories are becoming fuzzier.
I went over to "Meet Scarlett Johannsen" today. I noticed IMDB.com
has
her USO tour as a blurb on their page. Stars and Stripes newspaper also
had an article on her tour.
It was scheduled for 10am. I got there at 1005AM. A lesson here is if
you want to be first in line, get there earlier. I wasn't first, I was
at the back....I was the back for a moment. .......out the community
center back door, turn left at the fence, go down the fence row for a
block and make another left. I'd estimate 1000 people (That could be way
off, but it was definately more than 100) She didn't show up until
1050AM. (Just like a woman to be late. :~) ) By then some people had
given up and left, so I moved a bit forward in line but was now toward
the rear instead of the back. About 12:30PM, I got into the door of the
building. Just before 1PM, I got into the room.
I had spent most of that line right behind a group of young Navy Seabees
with either no rank or 1 whatever passes for a stripe in the Navy. All
young kids who were clustered around each other doing a lot of obnoxious
joking. With them who had been waiting in line before they arrived was a
young petite Navy girl in Navy PT shorts. (skinny chicken legs but not
bad looking). She was joking right there with them the whole time.
Fortunately as I got to the door, they pulled those folks out of the
line with the exception of the girl....which was good because I didn't
have to go in with them.
What I expected was Scarlett Johannsen sitting at a table and a sorta
assembly line system going. That wasn't the case and of course was the
reason why it was taking so long.
They had a table, but she was out in front of it. They'd let about 12
people into the room at a time. The room was dark with a light shining
only on/near the table.
Six people were waiting in line to meet her and get an autograph. They
had another group of USO people a few feet in front of her. When I came
into the room, they said all those with camera's to hand them over. The
6 people waiting for the autograph in front of us didn't hand any of
their cameras over but the 6 I was with all handed our cameras to the
USO folks. I was the 3rd in line for that 6 behind the petite Navy girl.
Scarlett was in front of the table, and when she'd sign an autograph,
she'd put the picture on the table, and lean way over it signing it with
her left hand. I mean, she'd lean way over the table, with her right leg
extending outward, her left leg drawn inward next to her right, and her
right arm resting on the table. And as she'd sign it, she'd kinda fidget
with her lower body twisting back and forth. It was a pretty damn nice
view. She was wearing Brown/Denim Jeans with no back pockets. Smooth all
the way back. The Jeans were flared at the bottom over a pair of what
I'd call white canvas deck shoes. She was wearing a white shirt/blouse.
Her Blond hair was pulled back behind her (I think in a tail) and she
had red lipstick.
When she was bent over signing the other people's autographs the little
navy girl turned to me and said, "Why can't we have our camera's
now?"
which I admit would've made a great picture. However, I couldn't help
but wonder about the Navy girls thinking because I was staring at
Scarlett's butt just before that moment--and wondered if that was what
the Navy girl was referring to? To be fair, a picture of Scarlett
bending over like that and another picture standing side/front view of
her talking to the person after she signed the autograph would've been
some seriously awesome pictures. However, that wasn't to be, and
unfortunately will fade from my memory.
When they said for us to come up, instead of signing autographs first
and then taking a "group" picture, instead they took the
"group" picture
first. No individual pictures were taken. They wanted 2 people on
both
sides of her and 2 people kneeling in front. For whatever reason, the 2
people in front of me, both went to her left side. I had hung back for
just a moment expecting the first 2 people to get their autographs and
then it'd be my turn. But with the picture announcement, it was wide
open between me and her. So, I took 2 steps up to her right side.
Scarlett came up to me for the picture, and though it was "normal",
she
put her right arm around my waist for the picture. The other people
kneeled down in front of her and 6 camera's flashed. After the picture,
I put my picture of her to be autographed which was handed to me in line
down. I told her "I want to say thank you for coming over. I appreciate
it".....I had been practicing that line in my head while I waited for 2
hours. She asked who should she make it out to and I said "Doug",
then
she bent down and started to sign the picture. She had some problems,
because by the pen was running out. She made a comment about that and
tried to get it to mark by writting it on a starbucks cup. I got my
autograph, said Thank you, then retreived my camera and left.
I'm very happy about getting to see her and I'm very
surprised and very happy about both being in a position to be able to be
next to her in the picture but then having her put her arm around my
waist for the picture makes me very happy for the moment. I realize
that's "normal" for the arm around the waist thing and every group
she
probably did that to.....I just didn't expect that to happen to me. I
can say, Scarlett Johanssen put her arm around my waist.......WOW! That
was cool.
That was soooooo worth waiting 2 1/2 hours for! YES!

I Just finished watching the movie DOA. It's based on the video game Dead or Alive. It's the fighting arcade game with the women with big boobies that jiggle. There is also the DOA extreme beach volleyball game. I have the volleyball game for my original XBOX but never played the fighting game. I played the volleyball game for a few days but after 20 matches or so, I never won a single match so I quit playing. The cut scenes for the game are all "tease" shots. They came out with a version of the volleyball game for the XBOX360. It was one of the very first XBOX360 games. I downloaded the trailer on the XBOX360 for that video game and it seems like they spent all the time developing the game on improving booby bounce physics . They bounce ridiculously unrealistic. The actual character models themselves are not very much improved from the original game and a big disappointment for the XBOX360 which should’ve been a huge improvement. The characters don't look near as good as they should. So I didn't buy the game.
The DOA movie though was actually surprisingly entertaining. I'd say honestly it's the best movie based on a video game so far. It's a huge step up from the other movies---or rather the other movies are so horrible--especially anything directed by Ewe Bolle--that this one is entertaining and well made. Note: It is not directed by Ewe Bolle, the guy responsible for a lot of horrible video game adaptations. There were scenes that were reminiscent of the "teaser" scenes in the game as well as a volleyball sequence as a tribute to the DOA volleyball game.
